The All-New 2026 BMW iX3 Is Here! It Changes Everything

Up front you get sharp triangular lighting elements, a minimalist kidney grille with optional BMW Iconic Glow illumination, and flush door handles that disappear into the body. Around back, powerfully contoured shoulders flow into striking split taillights.

At launch, the iX3 is available in one solid and five metallic paint finishes; including two colors exclusive to this model: Polarized Grey Metallic and the stunning Ocean Wave Blue Metallic. Three additional metallic finishes will be added later in 2026. It’s a car that looks even better in person.

463 Horsepower. Up to 434 Miles of Range. You Do the Math.

The iX3 50 xDrive launches with BMW’s sixth-generation eDrive technology and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. Here’s what that means on paper:

• 463 horsepower and 473 lb-ft of torque
• 0–60 mph in 4.7 seconds
• Up to 434 miles of EPA-rated range
• 400 kW peak DC fast charging
• 10% to 80% charge in just 21 minutes
• Add up to 175 miles of range in 10 minutes at a compatible fast charger

The iX3 comes standard with a NACS charging port, meaning it plugs directly into any Tesla Supercharger or NACS-equipped station — no adapter needed. A CCS adapter is included for broader compatibility.

BMW’s new cylindrical battery cells deliver 20% greater energy density than the previous generation and enable 30% faster charging. The sixth-gen motors themselves are 40% more energy efficient, 10% lighter, and 20% cheaper to manufacture than what came before. This is BMW Engineering!

Inside, the iX3 introduces the BMW Panoramic iDrive. An expansive, layered display experience that reimagines how you interact with your vehicle. This isn’t just a tact on big screen. It’s a fully integrated cockpit featuring:

• Haptic-feedback steering wheel controls for eyes-on-road operation

Every iX3 comes with the Active Driving Assistant Plus package included at no extra cost. That means:
