BMW 5 Series Interior Dimensions
At the end of the day, a sedan needs to provide enough space for you and all your passengers. Naturally, the BMW 5 Series does not disappoint:
- Headroom: 38.8 inches (Front and Rear)
- Legroom: 41.4 inches (1st Row) / 36.5 inches (2nd Row)
- Shoulder Room: 58.7 inches (1st Row) / 55.9 inches (2nd Row)
- Trunk Capacity: 14 cubic feet
- 40/20/40 split fold-down through-load rear seats are standard
These specs hold true in almost every BMW 5 Series 2021 interior. However, if you opt for the plug-in hybrid 530e or the 530e xDrive, the larger battery will reduce your total trunk capacity to 10 cubic feet. If the loss of a little cargo space doesn’t seem like a big deal, you might want to compare the BMW 3 Series vs. 5 Series before you move forward!
