2023 BMW X7: Performance Upgrades
The 2023 BMW X7 is ramping up the power! The 2022 BMW X7 comes equipped with a 335-hp 3.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine. For 2023, the BMW X7 is getting a power boost of 40 hp, bringing the total output to 375 hp.
What’s more, Integral Active Steering and Active Roll Stabilization will now be standard equipment on the BMW X7 M60i, which is a brand-new addition to the lineup. This model will also arrive with a mild-hybrid V8 engine.
2023 BMW X7: Redesign & Technology
The refreshed design of the 2023 BMW X7 sets is apart from the X7 models that have come before. Two areas where special attention has been paid are the grille and headlights. The grille is a BMW kidney grille with cascade lighting, incorporating new grille bars with a bi-color design and chrome elements. The BMW X7 headlights flow seamlessly into this new design, drawing attention to the BMW X7’s proud new stance. The daytime driving lights also operate as turn signal indicators, while the low-beam and height-beam headlights are powered by two LED units under the daytime driving lights.
In addition to the exterior’s attention-grabbing new style, the interior gets a few upgrades of its own. BMW Live Cockpit is standard on the new X7, and includes the latest version of the BMW iDrive system. BMW iDrive 8 software, along with the BMW Curved Display, voice control, BMW gesture control, iDrive controller, and steering wheel-mounted buttons work in unison to connect drivers to everything needed to stay comfortable and informed while on the road.
Digital Key Plus is an optional feature for the 2023 BMW X7 and allows drivers to lock/unlock their vehicle using their Apple iPhone. This feature uses a combination of Near Field Communication and secured ultra-wideband radio technology. So, if you can unlock your car door from your phone when you’re in a hurry; you don’t even need to take your phone out of your pocket or bag!
